If imitation is a form of flattery, Fiore Sardo should be thrilled. Fakes abound in the US, Canada and sometimes in Europe. Even Argentina has been known to participate in the flattery. Fiore Sardo from Sardinian sheep milk is the real deal and this one is legit. Firm, with a rich texture, great on bruschetta or hot bread with a garlic rub, drizzled with olive oil. Serve with red wine or spice things up with a cold Vodka.
